A renewal centre at Thiroor was founded in Thrissur Assisi Province to strengthen the Franciscan spirit and charism through retreats and renewal programme. The foundation stone for the convent was laid by the Vicar Rev. Fr Giles Chettupuzhakkaran. The chapel and convent building was blessed by Rev. Dr. Joseph Kundukulam, Bishop of Thrissur on 16^th March 1991.The occasion was blessed with the presence of Provincial Superior Rev. Sr. Alex and Council.

                                    A Nursery school was started since June 1990 onwards and it was an efficient medium through which deep faith and moral values could be inculcated.

                                       Sisters are fully devoted to pastoral ministries such as family visit, family unit gathering, de-addiction activities, animation of pious associations, intercessory prayers etc.

                                   This center is also a blessed destination for the blooming buds of our province. The fresh candidates are cordially invited and has been trained every year.
